Most of the caves are above ground, which makes crawling through them a rather different experience than the usual cave crawl. The Rockhampton Botanical Gardens hold a wide array of animals that you can find in Australia. As well as a nice nature reserve where you walk go to relax. The Archer Park Rail Museum is a heritage, with a small museum attached to it. If you enjoy looking at steam trains, then this park should definitely be on your bucket list. If you visit on the right day, you will be able to go on a ride on one of the steam trains as well.
